senior graduated and attended
post-secondary institutions. 80% of the seniors were offered full or partial grant-in aids to play college
sports. Overall record of win 81 losses 11 - 83.6%, averaged 20 wins per season with a margin per victory of 17.4ppg. NC Central Conference
Coach of the Year - 67, 68, 69, 70. * North Carolina Boys Basketball Coach of the Year 1969. NC 4A State Championship Runner-up 1971,
Coached players such as Willis Miller: Wake Forest University, Winston Moore: Virginia Union, Norton Barnhill: Washington State University,Seattle Supersonics
and New York Nets.
Coach Moore was the first African-American to win a state championship in the newly integrated school
system.First African-American voted NC Coach of the Year in 1969. All thirteen of the young men on the team graduated, completed college
and /or military service and are very successful.
Served as Head Men's Coach at West Forsyth (1971 - 72) record 22 - 4, Conference
Champs 1972.
Atkins High School ( Track 1967-1971) 95% of seniors attented post secondary institutions. 70% were offered
grant-in-aids to play sports. Coached several conference and state champion track men including: Alfred Adams: 1968-69 4A Champion
Low and High Hurdles- Willis Miller 1969-70 880 run. Four Central Conference Track Championships,Three State Championships.

Coach Moore has coached and mentored players who have
constituted a "who's-who" among college and professional ranks. Many former players such as Steve Joyner(Johnson C. Smith) assisted
him at Virginia Union and JCSU. Coach Moore's household names of legends include: Barnhill, Joyner, Hunter, Benson, Lewis, Proctor,
Oliver, Tibbs, McGruder, Shockley, Jones, Johnson, Brown, Flores and Smith. Coach Moore returned to his "first love" high school to
coach "B-Ball" at Harding High(Charlotte, 1988-90) W-60, L-32 and Ashville Senior High (1991-2003) W-71, L-40. Coach "Bobby's" graduation
rate of senior basketball players is documented at 75%. Fifty percent of graduates received full scholarships or partial grants. Coach
Moore has three adult children who are college graduates-and "Jr." is presently a "chip off the block":
